If you personally know me, you know that I am absolutely in love with my dog Lilly. She is my wonderful little design assistant that guides me through every decision. Only distressed by the daily UPS truck, Lilly is quite the little helper. OK, really she just sleeps all day in my lap or on her little pink bed beside my desk. What a life!

Of course, she is a member of the family and a very important one at that. So, as tribute to my little 8lb fluff ball, I started my quest to find an artist that captured my dog’s spirit without dumping out my piggy bank.

After about 2 years of searching and coming up empty handed… I found a website that boasted custom oil portraits for less. I thought why not give it a shot. The website http://www.oilportraits.com/ was a unique discovery and I am so happy with my outcome. Of course, my husband laughed and said that I made him turn in his man card, but Lilly hangs proudly in my formal living room.
So you be the judge… can you get quality portrait art work with a no name artist for less money?
